On Monday, the team announced that this award would be given to players who demonstrated constituency and a positive attitude, showed improvement, and motivated others during the spring.

That was what Jerod Mayo told reporters as training camp opened outside Gillette Stadium. And the list the head coach was referring to has since arrived.

Each of the award recipients will receive “a golf cart ride to and from the training camp fields, one custom meal cooked by the team chef, and their photos displayed inside the team facilities.”

On offense, the 2024 recipients of the award included quarterback Jacoby Brissett, receivers DeMario Douglas and K.J. Osborn, tight end Hunter Henry, center David Andrews, and veteran guard Nick Leverrett. Leverett and Osborn were signed as part of the 2024 free-agent class. On the defensive side of the football, team captains Ja’Whaun Bentley, and Deatrich Wise Jr. earned the award along with Keion White, Raekwon McMillan, cornerback Christian Gonzalez, and safety Jabrill Peppers. Finally, one special teamer earned the award: Brenden Schooler.

“I thought it was great, not only just from the football aspect, but just being around the guys, and being able to hang out with each other outside of Boston and Foxborough and away from the facility,” Brissett said via Patriots.com.
