It’s finally upon us, Week 18 of the NFL is here, and it’s going to be a hectic one for Patriots playoff hopes. The NFL has flexed two games to play on Saturday, as the Chiefs will take on the Raiders, and the Titans will travel to Jacksonville. So who should Patriots fans root for in those games?
Let’s find out.
4:25 p.m.
Chiefs Vs. Raiders
Although this game doesn’t directly matter to the Patriots, it does affect the Bills, who will play the Patriots on Sunday. The Bills are fighting for the first seed in the playoffs, and with a Raiders and Bills win, they could accomplish that task. The Bills will play their starters no matter what, but with a Chiefs win, they can not get the first seed. Patriots fans will want to root for the Chiefs, so the Bills have no opportunity to get the one seed. Go, Chiefs!
8:15 p.m.
Titans Vs. Jaguars
This game is crucial game for the Patriots’ playoff chances. If the Patriots lose to Buffalo, there is still a scenario the Patriots get into the playoffs. The Jaguars would have to beat the Titans, the Browns would have to beat the Steelers, and the Jets would have to beat the Dolphins. If the Titans beat the Jaguars, the Patriots would have to beat the Bills to get into the playoffs. Go, Jaguars.
