The New England Patriots open as 7.5-point favorites ahead of Week 7 matchup vs. the Chicago Bears.

The New England Patriots are coming off a dominant 38-15 performance against the Cleveland Browns. The Patriots had six players record 60+ scrimmage yards and scored 38 points. With Bailey Zappe at quarterback, the Patriots totaled 399 yards of offense and averaged six yards a play. Due to the passing attack, Zappe threw for 309 yards, including two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears are coming off a rough game against the Washington Commanders. In a low-scoring Thursday night duel, the Bears lost 12-7. However, the Bears should be getting receiver Nkeal Harry back this week. Yes, N’keal Harry; the Patriots biggest draft “bust.”

The oddsmakers aren’t expecting a lot of points, as the over-under is set at 38.5 points. The Bears only average 15.5 points a game, which is 31st in the NFL. Furthermore, the Patriots defense will make life even harder for Chicago.

The Patriots and Bears will kick off Monday, October 24th, at 8:30 on NBC.

Early pick:

Patriots: 28

Bears: 10
