Collins signed with New England last month but has yet to appear in a game this season. Collins has started in 104 games and totaled 700 tackles, with 27 sacks and 19 forced fumbles. He also has 12 interceptions and 39 passes defended. Collins will provide depth to the linebacker position, with two questionable players, Josh Uche (hamstring) and Anfernee Jennings (calf). The rest of the linebacker room consists of Matthew Judon, Ja’Whaun Bentley, Jahlani Tavai, Mack Wilson, and Raekwon McMillan.

Meanwhile, the undrafted free agent out of William & Mary, Bill Murray arrived in New England in 2020, playing defensive tackle. However, in the 2022 preseason, he moved to the offensive line and played plenty of snaps in the preseason for New England. Starting guard Micheal Onwenu (ankle) and starting tackle Isaiah Wynn (shoulder) are both questionable to play this evening. Murray provides depth to the line. However, he is unlikely to play.

Additionally, the Patriots decided not to elevate practice squad quarterback Garrett Gilbert. Gilbert had been elevated the past two weeks because of Mac Jones and Brian Hoyer’s absence. According to Reports, Mac Jones is expected to play and be active tonight.

Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET.
