Snap Counts
Offense: 63 total snaps
Quarterbacks
Mac Jones: (63) 100%
For the second week in a row, Mac Jones played 100% of the snaps. Jones completed 20 of 30 for 147 yards and a touchdown. Although Jones had some rough moments, especially on third down, he took care of the ball. Jones had his first game in 7 starts without throwing an interception, a solid improvement. Although Mac Jones might not be the franchise quarterback, he will be the starter for the rest of the season, barring injury.
Running backs
Rhamondre Stevenson: (46) 73%
J.J. Taylor: (17) 27%
The Patriots had three running backs on the gameday roster, but only two of them played, with Rhamondre Stevenson logging 73% of the snaps and J.J Taylor playing 27% of the snaps. However, rookie running back Pierre Strong Jr. did not see the field on offense, although he did see the field on special teams. On Taylor’s 17 snaps, he touched the ball ten times. Damien Harris continues to recover from an illness that kept him out of practice last week.
Wide receivers
Jakobi Meyers: (51) 81%
Kendrick Bourne: (48) 76%
Tyquan Thornton: (42) 67%
Nelson Agholor: (21) 33%
RB/WR Lynn Bowden Jr.: (14) 22%
With DeVante Parking nursing a knee injury, the Patriots’ top receiver was Jakboi Meyers, followed by Kendrick Bourne. As the season moves on, Nelson Agholor’s role continues to decrease, as he saw 0 targets on Sunday. Ball security was an issue for the receivers as Jakboi Meyers and Kendrick Bourne fumbled. New England chose to elevate Lynn Boyden Jr. from the practice squad; he was on the field for 14 plays.
Tight ends
Hunter Henry: (42) 67%
Jonnu Smith: (34) 54%
The Patriots had both tight ends involved equally in the passing game on Sunday, and believe it or not, the two biggest plays from the Patriots’ offense were to Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry. Henry caught all four of his targets for 50 yards, and Smith caught three receptions for 21 yards.
Offensive line
LT Trent Brown: (63) 100%
C James Ferentz: (63) 100%
RG Michael Onwenu: (63) 100%
RT Yodny Cajuste: (63) 100%
OL Isaiah Wynn: (48) 76%
LG Cole Strange: (15) 14%
New England’s offensive line had another rough afternoon, but four of the five starting linemen played 100% of the snaps. Trent Brown, Micheal Onwenu, James Ferentz, and Yodny Cajuste played 63 snaps. In the absence of David Andrews (concussion), James Ferentz stepped in for the second consecutive week. Cole Strange only saw 15 snaps as Bill Belichick benched the rookie for the second straight week. Isaiah Wynn stepped in at left guard (48 snaps).

Defense – 62 snaps

Defensive line
Deatrich Wise Jr: (45) 73%
Lawrence Guy Sr: (34) 55%
Davon Godchaux: (27) 44%
Carl Davis: (11) 18%

The veteran has been a surprising bright spot for the Patriots defense, and he continued his success Sunday, tallying three tackles with a 1/2 sack. Lawrence Guy Sr. and Davon Godchuax played 34 and 27 snaps, respectively. Carl Davis had a quiet day as the Patriots played more of a 3-4 base, with the Colts throwing the ball more often than running.

Matthew Judon: (42) 68%
Jahlani Tavai: (35) 56%
Anfernee Jennings: (28) 45%
Josh Uche: (25) 40%
Mack Wilson Sr.: (18) 29%
