The Patriots’ challenging 2023 season came to an end on Sunday. While uncertainties loom regarding the Patriots future head coach and quarterback, their 2024 opponents have already been determined.
We knew most of the 2023 opponents before Week 18, but now we know which AFC North and NFC North opponent they’ll face. The Bears and Bengals claimed last place in their respective divisions, meaning they will play the Patriots in 2024.
However, the NFL won’t reveal the complete scheduling details until later in the spring. Preseason games and dates will also be set in the spring. As a result of a lackluster 4-13 campaign, the NFL may lower the amount of nationally-televised games for the Patriots in 2024.
The Patriots will host their three divisional rivals at Gillette Stadium in 2024, along with the Texans, Colts, and Chargers. New England will also play NFC West next year, including two Super Bowl matchups, the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks and Cardinals will visit Foxboro for the first time since 2016.
Due to new scheduling rules, the Patriots will play one less home game than the road game next season.
